The Trix 23060 reproduces the Bvmkz 856 compartment coach of DB AG in Epoch V, corresponding to position 7 in the IC 2013 DortmundOberstdorf consist as operated in 2003. The light grey livery with traffic red decorative stripe is characteristic of this long-distance rolling stock, and on the layout it is immediately recognisable within an Epoch V IC formation.
A compartment coach with functional detail
The model comes factory-fitted with LED interior lighting, with transparent red switches at each end of the coach. Current-conducting couplers allow the coach to be integrated into a consist with continuous electrical feed along the train. The lighting can be controlled digitally from the IC control cab, which is not included.
