The Tonecheer TQ-113 Vincent's World is a DIY book nook that turns a shelf gap into a miniature scene dedicated to Van Gogh. The composition recreates the painter in his courtyard, surrounded by references to his most recognisable works: The Starry Night in the background and Sunflowers on the table. Everything is built from laser-cut wood, with a natural wood finish and painted and paper decorative details that add depth and warmth to the scene.
LED lighting with motion sensor: the scene comes alive on its own
The integrated LED lighting system includes a motion sensor that switches the lights on automatically when it detects movement in front of the shelf. A manual mode is also available to keep the lighting on continuously. It is one of those details that change the whole experience: by day it is a decorative piece with real character, by night it becomes something quite a bit more special. The LED and sensor require 3 AA batteries, which are not included in the box.
An 80-piece assembly project with moderate difficulty
The kit includes 80 laser-cut wood pieces, paper pieces, wiring, LED lights, motion sensor and stick glue. Instructions are in English. With a difficulty level of 3.5 out of 5 and an estimated assembly time of 3 to 5 hours, it is an accessible project for ages 14 and up, whether you are new to this type of kit or a more experienced hobbyist. Once finished, the result measures 24.5 x 18 x 8 cm: enough presence to fill a gap between books without feeling excessive.
