The Trix 23315 is the official expansion set for the Gasturbinen-Triebzug BR 602 Inter-City DB. Three coaches a large saloon, a restaurant car and a compartment coach built with die-cast metal chassis and body, designed to complete the consist of Trix 22202 and add real length on the track.
A consist that gains presence on the layout
With these three coaches added, the BR 602 goes from a traction unit to a full train. The combined length of 629 mm gives the consist a visual presence that stands out particularly on long straights and through stations: the train fills the platform with the proportions you would expect from an Era IV Inter-City. The continuous electrical connection between coaches and the special close couplers with sliding guide maintain the visual and mechanical unity of the set.
Interior lighting and metal details
All three coaches feature built-in interior lighting with digital connectivity, allowing the lights to be controlled from the command station without any physical intervention. The grab rails are applied in metal, a detail that reinforces the overall appearance at scale. The DC system is compatible with analogue layouts, and the digital readiness allows integration into digital control environments without additional modifications.
A limited edition for a specific consist
The 23315 is designed exclusively as an extension of the Trix 22202, making it a catalogue piece with a clear purpose: completing that specific train. As an Einmalserie, availability is limited. On the layout, the three coaches add continuity to the consist and visually balance the relationship between the power unit and the hauled rolling stock, closing the composition with period and operator coherence.
