The two independent Y25 bogies handle minimum radii of 358 mm smoothly, and the NEM 362 short elastic coupler keeps the buffers close together on straight track, opening naturally through points.

The wagon measures 138 mm over buffers in HO scale (1:87), runs on Y25 bogies with low-friction axles and is fitted with a NEM 362 short elastic coupler. It is ready for 2-rail DC systems. Conversion to alternating current for Märklin layouts is possible using the optional Roco 40196 axle set, though that accessory is not included.
