The REE Modèles WB270 brings together two DB Tombereau wagons in a single set, with different registration numbers and distinct construction: one with a plain sheet-metal body, grease axleboxes and spoked wheels, and another with a diamond-pattern body and solid grease axleboxes. That contrast between the two units is precisely what gives the set its natural feel in real railway operation, freight trains rarely ran with identical wagons.
Two wagons, two different readings
The constructive difference between both units is no minor detail. The plain sheet-metal body with spoked wheels and the diamond-pattern body with solid grease axleboxes reflect genuine variants of the Om19 type, and their coexistence within the same set allows you to build a freight train with greater visual variety without hunting for additional references.
