The G1000 is a diesel locomotive with a recognisable profile in the contemporary European traction fleet, and Mehano reproduces it in HO scale in Europorte livery, numbered 1041. Reference 90537 comes factory-fitted with digital and sound, allowing it to be integrated directly into a DCC layout without any additional work.
Digital and sound ready to run
The 3-Rail AC system with DCC decoder and included sound makes this G1000 a ready-to-run locomotive from the very first moment on digital layouts. Lighting is reversible, adapting to the direction of travel, and the model includes add-on details that allow the level of finish to be personalised to the modeller's preference. The coupler follows the NEM standard, with fixed buffers.
On-track presence in Era VI
At 164 mm in length, Mehano's G1000 has a well-proportioned visual scale for leading freight consists or working shunting and classification scenes. On an Era VI layout, the Europorte livery brings coherence with the private freight operator rolling stock that defines today's European railway.
