The Arnold HN4335 brings together three SNCF DEV Inox coaches in a single box, with the 1 x A9 and 2 x B10 distribution typical of an Era III passenger formation. In N scale, this stainless steel rolling stock has a highly distinctive visual presence: the ribbed sides and period SNCF livery make the consist immediately recognisable on any layout.
A passenger formation ready for the layout
With three coaches included, the set lets you run a passenger consist straight out of the box without hunting for individual pieces. The combination of one first-class A9 and two second-class B10 coaches reflects a common arrangement on SNCF passenger trains during Era III, giving the formation instant internal coherence.
Confirmed technical specifications
The set is designed for two-rail DC N scale track. The minimum passing radius is 192 mm, an important figure when planning your track plan. Couplers are of the Arnold/Rapido type with NEM 355 pocket and KK kinematics, making integration with other compatible rolling stock straightforward.
Layout integration and consist building
On an N scale layout, three DEV Inox coaches already deliver a train length that gives a convincing sense of a real consist passing through a station or along a straight. If you have additional coaches from the same series, the set works as the core of a longer formation; on its own, it already represents a period passenger service with a well-balanced visual ratio between motive power and hauled stock.
