The consist combines two sleeping cars Bcüm 243 and one second-class compartment coach Büm 234, featuring the distinctive Pop-Wagen colour palette blue-lilac with grey, blue with grey, and red-violet with grey making this rolling stock instantly recognisable on any Epoch IV layout.
Three coaches that complete a night-time consist in Z scale
With a total length of 365 mm over buffers, the set adds visual continuity to a night express train in Z scale. The short-coupling couplers reduce the gap between coaches and reinforce the look of a compact, well-formed train. The set is designed to run alongside the starter set 81873, making it easy to extend an existing consist without breaking coherence between the powered and unpowered stock.
