The Märklin 72221 is a modular construction set designed to expand the elevated railway within the Märklin my world system. With 86 pieces in total 14 adapter blocks for securing the track and 72 blocks for the pillars it lets you raise the layout off the ground and create ascending and descending ramps between level 0 and level 1, adding depth and movement to any railway scene.
A layout with height and continuity
The ability to elevate the route completely changes how the whole layout reads. The train no longer runs on a single plane it gains presence in the scene: climbing, descending, crossing over other elements. That change of level, straightforward to assemble with the 72221 blocks, visually transforms the arrangement of the layout and gives the whole thing a sense of greater distance and dynamism.
86 modular pieces to build and expand
The set includes exactly 14 adapter blocks for track fixing and 72 blocks for the elevated railway pillars. All pieces are made from robust plastic, designed for children's use within the my world system. Construction is modular: the blocks combine to adjust pillar height and ramp gradient according to the available space.
Integration within the Märklin my world system
The 72221 is conceived as an expansion for the Märklin my world Elevated Railroad, compatible with references such as the 29307, the 23302 and the 72218. If a my world layout is already up and running, this set allows you to add the elevated section without rethinking the base track plan: the ramps integrate into the existing route and the train can move naturally from one level to the other within the layout.
