The LS Models 30231 set brings together two SNCF refrigerated wagons in HO scale: one in Frangeco white livery and one in the distinctive STEF blue with grey roof. Each wagon carries its own individually printed running number, giving the pair the feel of genuine rolling stock within any consist.

The combination of Frangeco and STEF liveries is no coincidence: it reflects the everyday mix of refrigerated stock from different operators that was common in Era V freight consists. On a layout set between 1991 and 2005, these two wagons slot naturally alongside other period freight rolling stock without any need to force visual coherence.

Each wagon measures 163 mm in length and is fitted with short couplers with elongation on NEM 362 pockets, making integration into curved consists straightforward while keeping the train looking compact. The system is 2-rail, compatible with standard DC HO scale layouts.
