The BR 218 is one of the most recognisable diesel classes in the German railway fleet, and Fleischmann captures it in N scale with road number 218 406-7 in current DB AG colours. Reference 7360034 is the analogue DC version for Era VI, designed to run on two-rail layouts with a minimum radius of 192 mm.
Traction and track performance
The model features drive on all four axles, two traction tyres and a flywheel, delivering smooth and progressive running. Megi suspension on the bogies helps the locomotive maintain reliable track contact even over minor irregularities.
