The Nissan Fairlady Z has been a reference point in JDM culture for decades, and the new RZ34 generation brought that spirit back with a design that looks to the past without giving up anything in the present. On that foundation, Kei Miura and his Pandem / Rocket Bunny studio applied the treatment enthusiasts know well: widened arches, aggressive side skirts and a bodywork reading that turns the Z into something else entirely. Solido has translated that proposal into 1/43 scale with a diecast piece that keeps the character of the kit without losing collection coherence.
A Z that does not try to go unnoticed
The metallic brilliant purple finish with black details is a choice that fits the Pandem aesthetic perfectly: it is not a background colour, it is part of the car's visual argument. On the shelf, this model reads very differently from a conventional Japanese sports car. The realistic rubber tyres and detailed interior sports seats, steering wheel and dashboard complete a piece that, despite its compact scale, gives you plenty to look at up close.
Contents and presentation
The box includes the diecast model, a display base with the model name and a stackable clear acrylic case, allowing it to be displayed comfortably without needing to add anything else. At approximately 10 cm in length, it fits well into any 1/43 modern car collection, and its presence is strong enough to mark a point of contrast within a line of Japanese sports cars. It is one of those pieces that rewards you the more you know what you are looking at.
Official licence and Solido reference
The model carries official licences from Nissan and Pandem (Rocket Bunny / TR-Design), ensuring the interpretation of the kit is faithful to the original design. The official Solido reference is S4315502. For anyone who follows Z culture or collects Pandem builds in miniature, this reference has its own place on the shelf.
